I just pinned this! Would love for you to share with my readers if you get the chance. This looks soooo goood! http://www.momontimeout.com/2012/01/taking-timeout-thursday-no-13.html
Thank goodness for the internet history thing on the computer. I came across this recipe yesterday via Pinterest and it looked absolutely amazing until I got to the ingredients list and saw sour cream (I have food related migraine triggers and sour cream is one of them.) so I didn't pin it and then later I came across a sour cream substitute that I think would work with this recipe and was disappointed in myself for not pinning it. I can't wait to try this. Thanks for the recipe!
*P.s. for anyone in the same boat or anyone who isn't keen on sour cream, the substitute is Greek yogurt.
Tiffany thank you so much for your thoughtful substitution! I am so glad you were able to make this recipe work for you and possibly help someone else going through the same thing! I think the tartness of the Greek yogurt will pair wonderfully with the lemon! Enjoy and let me Know how it goes when you make it :)
I love lemons and anything lemon with glaze on it. Your bread looks fantastic, I can't wait to bake it and compare it to my recipe, thanks! http://www.cookeatdelicious.com/fruit-recipes/lemons-recipes/luscious-lemon-bread-cake-recipe.html
Lemon bread always reminds me of my mom. Having a skice fir breakfast is such a great way to start the day.

Thanks for the invitation to link up! Stay tuned for a new blog post today! :)
DeleteThe recipe says "sift both flours." Is there a second flour missing from the ingredients list or am I reading it wrong?
ReplyDeleteI am sorry it's a typo! Should be "sift THE flour"! :)
